Process of Bhasma Puja
Shiv Jal Abhishek – Water is offered to Lord Shiva to purify and bless the space, followed by the Panchamrit Abhishek (using milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar) to nourish and cleanse.
Bhasma Abhishek – The holy bhasma (ash) is used for the abhishek to symbolize the destruction of ego and impurities, preparing for inner purification.
Holy Cleansing - After the abhishek, the idol of Lord Shiva is given a sacred bath to purify further and ready it for the next phase of the puja.
Bhasma Shringar – Lord Shiva is beautifully adorned with bhasma, flowers, and sacred items to symbolize surrender and devotion, completing the offering of love and respect.
