हिन्दू कलैंडर के अनुसार हर वर्ष माघ-फागुन माह के कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्दशी तिथि को महाशिवरात्रि पर्व मनाया जाता है। भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती के मिलन का पर्व महाशिवरात्रि सनातन हिन्दू धर्म में बहुत अधिक महत्व रखता है। माना जाता है कि सृष्टि का प्रारम्भ भी इसी दिन से हुआ था। जो कि भगवान शिव के वृहद अग्निलिंग स्वरूप से शुरू हुआ था। यह साल की 12 शिवरात्रियों में सबसे बड़ी शिवरात्रि होती है, जिसे भारत के अलावा विश्व स्तर पर मनाया जाता है। इस दिन चारों तरफ खुशी और हर्ष का माहौल बना होता है। प्राकृतिक रूप से भी यह सकारात्मकता का कारक त्यौहार माना जाता है। इस दिन भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती की पूजा-आराधना के साथ ही तरह-तरह के धार्मिक आयोजन किए जाते है। हिन्दू धर्म के लोगों द्वारा अपने घर और धार्मिक स्थलों पर रुद्राभिषेक के साथ ही साथ भजन, सांस्कृतिक उत्सव, भंडारे, जागरण आदि शुभ आयोजन आयोजित किए जाते हैं। महाशिवरात्रि की विशेष रात्रि के निशिता काल में ही की जाती है। वर्ष 2023 में 18 फरवरी, दिन शनिवार को महाशिवरात्रि का परम पावन त्यौहार मनाया जाएगा।

According to the Hindu calendar, Mahashivaratri festival is celebrated every year on the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of the month of Magha-Phagun. Mahashivaratri, the festival of union of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, holds great importance in Sanatan Hindu religion. It is believed that the beginning of the universe also took place from this day. Which started with the huge Agniling form of Lord Shiva. It is the biggest Shivaratri among the 12 Shivaratri of the year, which is celebrated globally apart from India. On this day, there is an atmosphere of happiness and joy all around. Naturally, this festival is considered to be a factor of positivity.

On this day, along with the worship of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, various religious events are organized. Along with Rudrabhishek, Bhajans, cultural festivals, Bhandaras, Jagran etc. auspicious events are organized by the people of Hindu religion at their homes and religious places. This is done only during the Nishita period of the special night of Mahashivaratri. In the year 2023, the most holy festival of Mahashivratri will be celebrated on 18th February, Saturday.

  • हर महीने कृष्ण पक्ष में आने वाली चतुर्दशी तिथि यानि अमावस्या से पहले का दिन शिवरात्रि के नाम से जाना जाता है। इसे मासिक शिवरात्रि कहा जाता है, जिसमें भगवान शिव की पूजा-आराधना की जाती है। लेकिन पूरे  वर्ष में आने वाली सभी शिवरात्रियों में, फरवरी-मार्च के महीने की महाशिवरात्रि को सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है, क्योंकि इस रात को ही सृष्टि का जन्म और  माता पार्वती और भगवान शिव का विवाह हुआ था। शिव और शक्ति के मिलन का ये पावन दिवस सनातन धर्म में बहुत अधिक महत्व रखता है। हर तरफ हर्षोल्लास का माहौल बना होता है। पूरे वातावरण में शिव और शक्ति की आराधना की परम ऊर्जा प्रवाहित होती है, जिससे मन और मस्तिष्क में सकारात्मकता का संचार होता है। वैज्ञानिक रूप से देखा जाए तो महाशिवरात्रि की रात को, पृथ्वी का उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध इस प्रकार अवस्थित होता है कि मनुष्य की भीतर ऊर्जा प्राकृतिक रूप से ऊपर की ओर जाती है। यह एक ऐसा दिन है, जब प्रकृति मनुष्य को साधना, तपस्या, योग और ध्यान के माध्यम से उसके आध्यात्मिक शिखर तक पहुँचने में मदद करती है। अतः इस समय का सदुपयोग करने और इस परंपरा के सम्मान में सभी लोग आपस में मिलकर महाशिवरात्रि का यह महोत्सव मनाते हैं, जो पूरी रात चलता है।

Scientifically speaking, on the night of Mahashivaratri, the northern hemisphere of the earth is positioned in such a way that the energy within the human being naturally moves upwards. It is a day when nature helps man to reach his spiritual pinnacle through sadhana, penance, yoga and meditation. Therefore, to make good use of this time and in honor of this tradition, all people together celebrate this festival of Mahashivaratri, which lasts the whole night.

  • महाशिवरात्रि का आध्यात्मिक और वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण से बड़ा ही गहरा महत्व है।

    वैज्ञानिक खोजों के अनुसार ब्रह्मांड में एक अज्ञात और रहस्यमयी ऊर्जा मौजूद है, जो हम सभी को चला रही है। प्रकृति का स्वयं बनना आज भी एक रहस्य है। विश्व भर के सारे वैज्ञानिकों ने कई तरह से अनुमान लगाया पर किसी तरह के निष्कर्ष पर पहुँच पाना संभव नहीं हो पाया और न ही वे अभी तक इसे कोई नाम दे पाए हैं। हालांकि, प्राचीन काल के संतों ने इस अज्ञात ऊर्जा को शिव कहा है और अपने ठोस आध्यात्मिक कारण भी दिए हैं।

    According to scientific discoveries, there is an unknown and mysterious energy present in the universe, which is driving all of us. Nature’s becoming itself is still a mystery. All the scientists around the world have speculated in many ways but it has not been possible to reach any kind of conclusion nor have they been able to give any name to it yet. However, sages of ancient times have called this unknown energy as Shiva and have also given their solid spiritual reasons.

  • माना जाता है कि शिव हर जीवित प्राणी को जीवित करने वाली ऊर्जा है। हम शिव की वजह से सांस लेने, खाने, चलने और अपनी दैनिक गतिविधियों को करने में सक्षम हैं। यह ऊर्जा न केवल जीवित प्राणियों को चलाती है, बल्कि यह निर्जीव वस्तुओं में भी उनकी ऊर्जा के रूप में निवास करती है। इस प्रकार, शिव पूरे अस्तित्व को संचालित करते हैं। महाशिवरात्रि वह दिन है जब शिव तत्व, पृथ्वी को छूता है। चेतना, आभा या ईथर दुनिया जो भौतिक जमीन से हमेशा दस इंच ऊपर होती है, महाशिवरात्रि के दिन पृथ्वी तत्व को छूती है। यह आध्यात्मिकता  के साथ भौतिकता का विवाह है।

नवग्रह प्रार्थना मंत्र/ Navagraha Prayer Mantra-

ब्रह्मा मुरारीत्रिपुरान्तकारी

भानुः शशि भूमिसुतो बुधश्च ।

गुरुश्च शुक्रः शनिराहुकेतवः

कुर्वन्तु सर्वे मम सुप्रभातम् ॥

Shiva is believed to be the animating energy of every living being. We are able to breathe, eat, walk and do our daily activities because of Shiva. This energy not only drives living beings, but it also resides in non-living things as their energy. Thus, Shiva governs the entire existence. Mahashivaratri is the day when the element Shiva touches the earth. Consciousness, the aura or the etheric world which is always ten inches above the physical ground, touches the earth element on the day of Mahashivaratri. It is the marriage of materiality with spirituality.

 

शिव (सब कुछ की) आत्मा है – आत्मा और शिव में कोई अंतर नहीं है। आपका वास्तविक स्वरूप शिव है, और शिव- शांति, अनंत, सौंदर्य और अद्वैत हैं। रात्रि का अर्थ है ‘शरण लेना’। अर्थात महाशिवरात्रि शिव (आत्मा) में शरण ले रही है। यह अपने भीतर शिव तत्व का उत्सव मना रहा है।
Shiva is the soul (of everything) – there is no difference between soul and Shiva. Your real nature is Shiva, and Shiva is peace, infinity, beauty and non-duality. Ratri means ‘to take refuge’. That means Mahashivratri is taking refuge in Shiva (soul). It is celebrating the Shiva element within itself.

पारिवारिक परिस्थितियों में मग्न लोग महाशिवरात्रि को शिव के विवाह के उत्सव की तरह मनाते हैं। सांसारिक महत्वाकांक्षाओं में मग्न लोग महाशिवरात्रि को, शिव के द्वारा अपने शत्रुओं पर विजय पाने के दिवस के रूप में मनाते हैं। हालांकि, साधकों के लिए, यह वह दिन है, जिस दिन वे कैलाश पर्वत के साथ एकात्म हो गए थे। वे एक पर्वत की भांति स्थिर व निश्चल हो गए थे। योगिक परंपरा में, शिव को किसी देवता की तरह नहीं पूजा जाता। उन्हें आदि गुरु माना जाता है, पहले गुरु, जिनसे ज्ञान उपजा। ध्यान की अनेक सहस्राब्दियों के पश्चात्, एक दिन उन्होंने ज्ञान की चरम सीमा को छुआ और वे पूर्ण रूप से स्थिर हो गए, वही दिन महाशिवरात्रि का था।

People engaged in family situations celebrate Mahashivaratri as a festival of the marriage of Shiva. People engrossed in worldly ambitions celebrate Mahashivratri as the day of Shiva’s victory over his enemies. However, for the Sadhaks, it is the day they became one with Mount Kailash. He had become stable and motionless like a mountain. In the Yogic tradition, Shiva is not worshiped as a deity. He is considered the Adi Guru, the first Guru, from whom knowledge originated. After several millennia of meditation, one day he touched the pinnacle of knowledge and became completely still, that day being Mahashivaratri.

भगवान शिव को जितना अधिक सांसारिक लोग मानते हैं, उससे कहीं ज़्यादा आध्यात्मिक पथ पर चलने वाले लोग भी मानते हैं। इसके अलावा वैरागी लोग भी भगवान शिव को एक वैरागी ही मानते हैं, जो सांसारिक जीवन से दूर है। कुछ लोगों की मान्यता के अनुसार भगवान शिव एक सत्य रूप है और यह पूरा संसार केवल मोहमाया है। विशेष आराधना के माध्यम से हम सभी लोग इस मोह माया से दूर होकर सत्य रूप को प्राप्त कर सकते हैं और शिव में मिल सकते हैं। योगिक परम्परा में भगवान शिव को एक ज्ञानी और वैरागी माना गया हैं। यह परम्परा शांति में विश्वास रखती हैं, इस वजह से महाशिवरात्रि आध्यात्मिक रूप से भी काफी खास हैं। अलग-अलग विचारधारा और विश्वास के बावजूद पूरा विश्व समुदाय भगवान शिव को ही पूजता है और शिवजी को पाने के मार्गों पर चलने का प्रयत्न करता है।

भारतीय हिन्दू परम्परा के अनुसार प्रत्येक वर्ष माघ मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी तिथि को बसन्त पंचमी का त्यौहार मनाया जाता है। यह बसन्त ऋतु के आगमन का और शुभता का प्रतीक माना जाता है इसलिए इसे श्री पंचमी भी कहा जाता है। यह दिन माँ सरस्वती की आराधना और उपासना का होता है। धार्मिक और प्राकृतिक रूप से बसन्त पंचमी का बहुत बड़ा महत्व होता है। धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार माँ सरस्वती का जन्म इसी दिन हुआ था। माता सरस्वती को विद्या की देवी भी कहा जाता है, इसलिए आज भी इसी दिन से माता-पिता अपने बच्चों की स्कूली शिक्षा शुरू करवाते हैं। सनातन संस्कृति के 16 संस्कारों में से एक विद्यारम्भ संस्कार इसी दिन आयोजित किया जाता है। शास्त्रों में बसन्त पंचमी को ऋषि पंचमी भी कहा गया है।

पूजा विधि /Worship method

  • Keep a handful of rice on the right side of Saraswati ji, and keep a copper vessel filled with pure water on it. Put Ganges water, a supari, a lump of turmeric, and a coin in that copper vessel.
  • सुबह जल्दी सोकर उठें, नित्यकर्मों से निवृत होकर साफ पीले वस्त्र धारण करें। सरस्वती पूजन के लिए आवश्यक पूजा सामग्री एकत्रित करें।
  • Wake up early in the morning, retire from routine and wear clean yellow clothes. Collect the necessary worship material for Saraswati Pujan.
  • एक साफ पटा या चौरंग लेकर उसमें लाल कपड़ा बांधें, एक मुट्ठी चावल रखें और माँ सरस्वती की प्रतिमा या तस्वीर रखें।
  • Tie a red cloth on a clean patta or chorang, place a handful of rice and place an idol or picture of Maa Saraswati.
  • सरस्वती जी के सामने गणेश जी की गोबर से बनी मूर्ति और गौरी जी की प्रतिमा रखें। गोबर की मूर्ति न हो तो सुपारी में मौली लपेट कर रखें।
  • Place an idol made of the cow dung of Ganesha and the idol of Gauri ji in front of Saraswati ji. If there is no idol made of cow dung, keep a molly wrapped in betel nut.
  • सरस्वती जी की दाहिनी तरफ एक मुट्ठी चावल रखें, उसपर तांबे का पात्र में शुद्ध जल भरकर रखें। उस तांबे के पात्र में गंगाजल, एक सुपारी, एक हल्दीगांठ, एक सिक्का डालें।
  • तांबे के पात्र में सिंदूर/कुमकुम से स्वास्तिक बनाएं, कंठ में 3 राउंड मौली धागा लपेट कर रखें, फिर आम के 5 पत्ते या एक पान का पत्ता डालकर नारियल रखें। यह जल कलश कहलाता है, जिसमें सात नदियों, त्रिदेवों और वरुण देवता का आवाहन किया जाता है।
  • Make a swastika with vermilion/kumkum in a copper vessel, wrap 3 rounds of molly thread around the neck, then put 5 mango leaves or a betel leaf and place a coconut. This is called Jal Kalash, in which the seven rivers, the Tridevs, and the god Varuna are invoked.
  • इसके बाद सरस्वती जी के सामने नवग्रह बनाकर रखें। (पटे पर चौकौर आकर में थोड़े चावल फैलाएं 9 सुपारी पर मौली लपेटकर, 9 हल्दीगांठ और 9 सिक्कों के साथ 3-3 के क्रम में जमाकर रखें।)
  • After this, make Navagraha in front of Saraswati ji. (Spread some rice in a square shape on the plate, wrap molly on 9 betel nuts, and keep 9 lumps of turmeric and 9 coins in order of 3-3.)
  • पूजन के लिए दूर्वा,अक्षत, चन्दन, पीले, सफेद, लाल पुष्प, मौसमी फल एकत्र करें, सात्विक और ताज़ा भोजन बनाएं, जैसे खीर-पूरी। इसके साथ ही मौसमी फसल जैसे- बेर, आंवला, सरसों, गेंहू की बाली भी पूजा में रखें।
  • Collect durva, akshat, sandalwood, yellow, white, and red flowers, and seasonal fruits for worship, and prepare satvik and fresh food, like kheer-puri. Along with this, keep seasonal crops like plum, amla, mustard, and wheat ear in worship.
  • हाथ धुलकर ॐ केशवाय नमः, ॐ माधवाय नमः, ॐ नारायणाय नमः कहकर 3 बार आचमन करें।
  • Wash your hands and perform aachamana 3 times saying Om Keshavaya Namah, Om Madhavaya Namah, Om Narayanaya Namah.
  • जल, पुष्प, अक्षत और चंदन से अपनी आसन के नीचे पृथ्वी पूजन करें।
  • Worship the earth under your seat with water, flowers, akshat, and sandalwood.
  • स्वयं पर और पूजा की सभी सामग्रियों पर शुद्ध जल में गंगाजल मिलाकर पुष्प या दूर्वा से छिड़काव करें।
  • Sprinkle Gangajal mixed with pure water with flowers or Durva on yourself and all the worship materials.
  • अब दाहिने हाथ में जल लेकर मन ही मन सभी देवी देवताओं और माता सरस्वती की पूजन करने का संकल्प लें और जल को माता के पास छोड़ें।
  • Now taking water in the right hand, take a pledge to worship all the Gods and Goddesses and Mother Saraswati and leave the water near the mother.
  • इसके बाद क्रमशः गणेश, गौरी, वरुण देव (जल कलश), नवग्रह और मां सरस्वती की सभी सामग्रियों कुमकुम, सिंदूर, चन्दन, पुष्प, आदि से पूजन करें।
  • Then worship Ganesha, Gauri, Varuna (water urn), Navagraha, and all the ingredients of Maa Saraswati with kumkum, sindoor, sandalwood, flowers, etc. respectively.
  • एक पान में सुपारी, हल्दी, सिक्का, अक्षत, नारियल, फल लेकर पूरे भाव से गौरी गणेश, नवग्रह और माँ सरस्वती को अर्पित करें। पूजन के बाद मिठाई, नैवेद्य, फल और भोजन का भोग लगाएं।
  • Take betel nut, turmeric, coin, Akshat, coconut, and fruits in a betel leaf and offer it to Gauri Ganesh, Navagraha, and Maa Saraswati with full devotion. After worship, offer sweets, naivedya, fruits, and food.
  • इसके बाद एक छोटे हवन कुंडी में गोबर के उपले या आम की लड़की की अग्नि प्रज्वलित करें और सभी देवी देवताओं के नाम से यथा शक्ति शुद्ध हवन की आहुति अर्पित करें।
  • After this, light the fire of cow dung or mango girl in a small Havan Kundi and offer pure Havan as per your strength in the name of all the Gods and Goddesses.
  • इसके बाद आरती करें, पुष्पांजलि अर्पित करें, माता की प्रार्थना करें और सभी को प्रसाद वितरण करें। इसके बाद भजन-गीतों का आयोजन करें।
  • After this, perform aarti, offer floral tributes, pray to the mother and distribute prasad to all. After this organize bhajan songs.

सरस्वती पूजन मंत्र / Saraswati worship mantra

किसी भी क्षेत्र के विद्यार्थियों को सरस्वती पूजन के समय इन मंत्रों का जाप करना चाहिए। / Students of any field should chant these mantras at the time of Saraswati Pujan.

  1. ॐ ऐं सरस्वत्यै नमः।
  2. ॐ वाग्देव्यै विद्महे ब्रहप्रियाय च धीमहि, तन्नो सरस्वती प्रचोदयात्।
  3. या कुन्देन्दुतुषारहारधवला या शुभ्रवस्त्रावृता।या वीणावरदण्डमण्डितकरा या श्वेतपद्मासना॥ या ब्रह्माच्युत शंकरप्रभृतिभिर्देवैः सदा वन्दिता। सा मां पातु सरस्वती भगवती निःशेषजाड्यापहा॥
  4. शुक्लां ब्रह्मविचार सार परमामाद्यां जगद्व्यापिनीं। वीणा-पुस्तक-धारिणीमभयदां जाड्यान्धकारापहाम्‌॥ हस्ते स्फटिकमालिकां विदधतीं पद्मासने संस्थिताम्‌। वन्दे तां परमेश्वरीं भगवतीं बुद्धिप्रदां शारदाम्‌॥

Shri Vajpayee was born on December 25, 1924, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh in a middle-class family. While his native village was Bateshwar (Agra). His father Shri Krishna Bihari Vajpayee was a teacher and poet. His mother’s name was Krishna Devi Vajpayee. He had 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Born in a humble school teacher’s family, Atal ji’s education and culture in family life made him successful in his political acumen and Indian democracy. Vajpayee ji is such a leader, who is recognized for his liberal thinking toward the world and commitment to democratic ideals

Former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee was not only a good politician but also an accomplished poet, writer, and versatile personality. There was magic in his speeches that easily attracted people. People wanted to hear him again and again. The leaders of the opposition parties were also admirers of Atal ji’s speeches and his thoughts. Even the opposition party used to listen to his debate in the Parliament quietly. Atal ji’s poems are effective in giving new direction and energy to life. The spirit of patriotism is clearly visible in his poems.

अपने जीवन काल में उन्होंने राजनैतिक जीवन से जुड़ी 14 और कविताओं की 5 से अधिक किताबें लिखीं। ऊर्जा से ओतप्रोत उनकी कई कविताएं आज भी जनता को रटी हुई हैं। अटल जी के लेख और कविताएं राष्ट्रधर्म, पाञ्चजन्य, नई कमल ज्योति, धर्मयुग, कादम्बिनी, नवनीत और कई प्रसिद्ध समाचार पत्रों में प्रकाशित हुए हैं। उनकी एक प्रसिद्ध कविता का अंश इसका एक बड़ा उदाहरण है।

In his lifetime, he wrote 14 books related to political life and more than 5 books of poems. Many of his poems filled with energy are still being recited by the public. Atal ji’s articles and poems have been published in Rashtradharma, Panchjanya, Nai Kamal Jyoti, Dharmayug, Kadambini, Navneet, and many other famous newspapers. An excerpt from one of his famous poems is a great example of this.

टूटे हुए सपनों की कौन सुने सिसकी,

अंतर को चीर व्यथा पलकों पर ठिठकी।

हार नहीं मानूंगा,

रार नहीं ठानुंगा,

काल के कपाल पर लिखता-मिटाता हूँ।

गीत नया गाता हूँ।

अटल जी ने अपना पूरा जीवन देश के लिए समर्पित कर दिया। वे जीवन भर अविवाहित ही रहे। खुद के स्वार्थ को छोड़कर वे सिर्फ देश का स्वार्थ देखने लगे। और यह विश्व विदित है कि भारतीय राजनीति के शिखर पर पंडित जी का नाम आज भी अटल है।

Atal ji dedicated his whole life to the country. He remained unmarried throughout his life. Leaving their own interest, they started looking only at the interest of the country. And it is world known that Pandit ji’s name at the pinnacle of Indian politics is unshakable even today.

हिंदुत्व और राष्ट्रप्रेमी कविताएं / Hindutva and patriotic poems-

पंडित जी पूरी तरह से हिंदुत्व विचारधारा के समर्थक थे, बावजूद इसके हर धर्म के लोग उन्हें पसंद करते थे। अटल जी की कुछ कविताएं जो उनके हिन्दू प्रेम को दर्शाती है।

Pandit ji was completely a supporter of Hindutva ideology, yet people of all religions liked him. Some poems of Atal ji reflect his Hindu love.

मै शंकर का वह क्रोधानल कर सकता जगती क्षार–क्षार। डमरू की वह प्रलय–ध्वनि हूँ, जिसमे नचता भीषण संहार।

रणचंडी की अतृप्त प्यास, मै दुर्गा का उन्मत्त हास। मै यम की प्रलयंकर पुकार, जलते मरघट का धुँआधार।

फिर अंतरतम की ज्वाला से जगती मे आग लगा दूँ मैं। यदि धधक उठे जल, थल, अंबर, जड चेतन तो कैसा विस्मय?

हिन्दू तन–मन, हिन्दू जीवन, रग–रग हिन्दू मेरा परिचय!

 

मै अखिल विश्व का गुरु महान्, देता विद्या का अमरदान। मैने दिखलाया मुक्तिमार्ग, मैने सिखलाया ब्रह्मज्ञान।

मेरे वेदों का ज्ञान अमर, मेरे वेदों की ज्योति प्रखर। मानव के मन का अंधकार, क्या कभी सामने सका ठहर?

मेरा स्वर्णभ मे घहर–घहर, सागर के जल मे छहर–छहर। इस कोने से उस कोने तक, कर सकता जगती सोराभ्मय।

मैने छाती का लहू पिला, पाले विदेश के क्षुधित लाल।मुझको मानव में भेद नही, मेरा अन्तस्थल वर विशाल।

जग से ठुकराए लोगों को लो मेरे घर का खुला द्वार। अपना सब कुछ हूँ लुटा चुका, फिर भी अक्षय है धनागार।

मेरा हीरा पाकर ज्योतित परकीयों का वह राजमुकुट। यदि इन चरणों पर झुक जाए कल वह किरीट तो क्या विस्मय?

होकर स्वतन्त्र मैने कब चाहा है कर लूँ सब को गुलाम? मैने तो सदा सिखाया है करना अपने मन को गुलाम।

गोपाल–राम के नामों पर कब मैने अत्याचार किया? कब दुनिया को हिन्दू करने घर–घर मे नरसंहार किया?

कोई बतलाए काबुल मे जाकर कितनी मस्जिद तोडी? भूभाग नहीं, शत–शत मानव के हृदय जीतने का निश्चय।

मै एक बिन्दु परिपूर्ण सिन्धु है यह मेरा हिन्दु समाज। मेरा इसका संबन्ध अमर, मैं व्यक्ति और यह है समाज।

इससे मैने पाया तन–मन, इससे मैने पाया जीवन। मेरा तो बस कर्तव्य यही, कर दू सब कुछ इसके अर्पण।

मै तो समाज की थाति हूँ, मै तो समाज का हूं सेवक। मै तो समष्टि के लिए व्यष्टि का कर सकता बलिदान अभय।

अटल जी का जीवन परिचय / Life introduction of Atal ji

अटल जी का जीवन ही उनका परिचय है। वे भारत के लोकप्रिय व्यक्तित्वों में से एक हैं। उनके जीवन के कुछ मुख्य बिंदु ऐसे हैं, जिनसे हम सभी बहुत कुछ सीख सकते हैं।

Atal ji’s life itself is his introduction. He is one of the most popular personalities in India. There are some key points in his life from which we all can learn a lot.

पिता-पुत्र की एकसाथ शिक्षा / Father-son education together

  • जन्म से ही विलक्षण प्रतिभा के धनी और कुशाग्र बुद्धि के मालिक रहे अटल जी राजनीति विज्ञान और लॉ के छात्र थे। उनके विद्यार्थी जीवन में वे अपनी मित्र मंडली और अध्यापकों के बीच बेहद लोकप्रिय रहे। अटल जी के जीवन परिचय से सम्भवतः सभी परिचित हैं लेकिन उनके बारे में एक बात बहुत कम लोग जानते होंगे, वह यह कि अटल जी और उनके पिता जी ने कॉलेज की पढ़ाई साथ-साथ की। दरअसल जब अटल जी कानून की पढ़ाई करने कानपुर आना चाहते थे, तब तक उनके पिता जी सेवानिवृत्त हो चुके थे। अटल जी ने कानपुर आने की इच्छा व्यक्त की तब उनके पिता जी ने भी उन्हीं के साथ कानपुर के D.A.V. कॉलेज में दाखिला ले लिया। वे पढ़ाई पूरी होने तक छात्रावास में भी एक साथ ही रहे। पूरे कॉलेज और छात्रावास में वे आकर्षण का केंद्र थे।

  • Atal ji, who was the owner of prodigious talent and sharp intellect since birth, was a student of Political Science and Law. In his student life, he was very popular among his friends and teachers. Everyone is probably familiar with Atal ji’s life introduction, but very few people would know one thing about him, Atal ji and his father studied college together. In fact, when Atal ji wanted to come to Kanpur to study law, by then his father had retired. Atal ji expressed his desire to come to Kanpur, then his father also accompanied him to Kanpur’s D.A.V. Took admission to college. They stayed together in the hostel till the completion of their studies. He was the center of attraction in the entire college and hostel.

 

आज़ादी की क्रांति का हिस्सा / Part of the freedom revolution

सन 1942 में आज़ादी की लड़ाई का माहौल बहुत भीषण रूप ले चुका था। हर तरफ आज़ादी की लहर चल रही थी, जिसका प्रभाव अटल जी पर भी था। जो भी आज़ादी के अभियान में शामिल होता, पुलिस उसे जेल में भर देती थी। अटल जी के भविष्य को देखते हुए उनके पिता जी ने उन्हें बटेश्वर भेज दिया। लेकिन भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन में उन्होंने ज़ोर-शोर से भाग लिया। यह गुलाम भारत का वही आखिरी अभियान था जिसकी जिसकी वजह से ब्रिटिश उपनिवेशवाद का अंत हुआ, इसलिए इस आंदोलन की एक अलग ही ताकत थी जिसने बच्चे बच्चे में भी आज़ादी की चाहत तेज़ कर फि थी। अटल जी भी आज़ादी की क्रांति में भाग लेने लगे और एक दिन पुलिस ने उन्हें पकड़ कर जेल में भेज दिया। तब वे नाबालिग थे, इसलिए ज़्यादा दिन जेल में नही रहे। परन्तु उनके मन में देश प्रेम की आग और अधिक धधक चुकी थी।

In the year 1942, the atmosphere of the freedom struggle had taken a very gruesome form. The wave of freedom was going everywhere, which had an impact on Atal ji as well. Whoever was involved in the freedom movement, the police used to put in jail. Seeing the future of Atal ji, his father sent him to Bateshwar. But he actively participated in the Quit India Movement. This was the last campaign of slave India which led to the end of British colonialism, so this movement had a different power that intensified the desire for freedom even in children. Atal ji also started participating in the freedom movement and one day the police caught him and sent him to jail. He was a minor then, so he did not stay in jail for long. But the fire of patriotism in his mind was burning even more.

 

साहित्य और पत्रकारिता की दुनिया का आरम्भ / Beginning of the world of literature and journalism

सन 1942 में लखनऊ के कालीचरण कॉलेज में अटल जी ने पहली बार अपनी स्वरचित कविता “हिन्दू तन-मन, हिन्दू जीवन, रग-रग हिन्दू मेरा परिचय” का वीर रस में पाठ किया, जिसे सुनकर उनके अध्यापक और श्रोता उनसे बहुत प्रभावित हुए। अटल जी की अद्भुत प्रतिभा और उमड़ते देशप्रेम को देखकर पण्डित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय जी उन्हें अपने साथ 1946 में लखनऊ ले आये। जहां उनकी काबिलियत के बल-बूते उन्हें हिंदी जगत की श्रेष्ठ राष्ट्रवादी पत्रिका ‘राष्ट्रधर्म’ का पहला संपादक नियुक्त किया गया। जहां अपने प्रभावी काम से उन्होंने कई नामचीन साहित्यकारों से पहचान बना ली। कई चुनौती और विरोध झेलकर वे साहित्य जगह का बड़ा नाम बन गए। इसके बाद 1948 में भारतीय राष्ट्रवादी विचारधारा वाला समाचार पत्र ‘पाञ्चजन्य’ भी प्रकाशित हुआ। जिसके संपादक भी अटल जी ही थे। आज़ादी के बाद कांग्रेस सरकार के आदेश पर राष्ट्रधर्म का कार्यालय सील करवा दिया गया, जिसके बाद अटल जी ने काशी की साप्ताहिक पत्रिका ‘चेतना’ का संपादन शुरू कर दिया। बाद में 1950 में लखनऊ में ‘दैनिक स्वदेश’ का संपादन शुरू किया, पर कुछ समय बाद आर्थिक संकट के चलते इसका संपादन भी उन्हें बन्द करना पड़ा। सन 1954 के बाद अटल जी दिल्ली चले आये, जहां ‘वीर अर्जुन’ समाचार पत्र का संपादक का काम उन्हें मिला, जिसके बाद अटल जी की संपादकीय की चर्चा पूरे दिल्ली में होने लगी। उनकी लेखन शैली का प्रभाव इतना प्रबल था कि उनके लेखनी को राजनेता भी पढ़ना पसन्द करते थे। धीरे-धीरे उनकी पहचान राष्ट्रीय स्तर तक बन गई। यहीं से उनके जीवन का एक नया अध्याय शुरू होने वाला था।

In the year 1942, at Kalicharan College, Lucknow, Atal ji wrote his own poem for the first time. Hindu body-mind, Hindu life, Hindu every vein, my introduction” recited in Veer Rasa, listening to which his teachers and listeners were greatly impressed by him. Seeing Atal ji’s amazing talent and rising patriotism, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay ji brought him with him to Lucknow in 1946. Where on the strength of his ability, he was appointed the first editor of the Hindi world’s best nationalist magazine ‘Rashtradharma’. Where by his effective work, he made an identity with many renowned writers. Withstanding many challenges and protests, he became a big name in the literary world. After this, in 1948, the newspaper ‘Panchjanya’ with Indian nationalist ideology was also published. Whose editor was also Atal ji. After independence, on the orders of the Congress government, the office of a national religion was sealed, after which Atal ji started editing Kashi’s weekly magazine ‘Chetna’. Later in 1950, he began editing ‘Dainik Swadesh’ in Lucknow, but after some time he had to stop editing it due to a financial crisis. After 1954, Atal ji moved to Delhi, where he got the job of editor of the ‘Veer Arjun’ newspaper, after which Atal ji’s editorials started being discussed all over Delhi. The influence of his writing style was so strong that even politicians liked to read his writings. Gradually, his identity became up to the national level. From here a new chapter of his life was about to begin.

 

राजनीति का प्रारम्भ / Beginning of politics

वैसे तो अटल जी राजनीति में तभी रुचि दिखाने लगे थे, जब 1942 में उनके भाई “भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन” में सक्रिय होने की वजह से जेल गए थे। लेकिन पुख्ता रूप से वे 1951 में आर एस एस के सहयोग से बने संगठन भारतीय जनसंघ के संस्थापक सदस्यों में से एक थे। पण्डित श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी ने उन्हें अपने निजी सचिव के रूप में रख लिया। अटल जी उनके भाषणों, सभाओं और दौरों का प्रबंध खुद करते थे। अटल जी भी सभाओं को अपने अनूठे ढंग से संबोधित करते थे, जिससे वे आम जनता के बीच भी लोकप्रिय होने लगे। लोग उन्हें सुनना पसंद करते थे। इन्हीं सब कारणों से अटल जी राजनीति में सक्रिय रहने लगे। भारतीय जन संघ से जुड़ने के बाद वे पत्रकारिता से अलग हो गए। हालांकि अपने लेखन और कविताओं को लेकर वे कभी नही थमें। उन्होंने राजनीति की शुरुआत 1955 से की जिसमें उन्होंने अपना पहला चुनाव लड़ा, पर विजयी नही हो पाए। लेकिन 1957 में उन्होंने बलरामपुर से सांसद पद के लिए चुनाव लड़ा और भारी मतों से जीते। इसके बाद वे 11 बार संसद सदस्य रहे जो कि अपने आप में एक कीर्तिमान है।

By the way, Atal ji started showing interest in politics only when his brother went to jail in 1942 for being active in the “Quit India Movement”. But concretely, he was one of the founding members of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, an organization formed in 1951 in collaboration with the RSS. Pandit Syama Prasad Mukherjee kept him as his personal secretary. Atal ji himself used to arrange for his speeches, meetings and tours. Atal ji also used to address the meetings in his own unique way, due to which he became popular among the general public as well. People loved listening to him. For all these reasons, Atal ji started being active in politics. After joining Bharatiya Jana Sangh, he separated from journalism. However, he never stopped with his writings and poems. He started politics from 1955 in when he contested his first election, but could not win. But in 1957 he contested for the post of MP from Balrampur and won by a huge margin. After this, he was a Member of Parliament 11 times, which is a record in itself.

1980 में भारतीय जन संघ से अलग होकर “भारतीय जनता पार्टी” की स्थापना हुई, जिसके पहले राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष अटल जी ही थे। शुरुआत के कई वर्ष इस पार्टी को आलोचनाओं का सामना करना पड़ा। 1998 में चुनाव जीतने के 13 महीनों बाद बहुमत न मिलने के कारण 1 वोट से भाजपा की सरकार गिर गई थी, जिसका चौतरफा मज़ाक बनाया गया था। तब अटल जी ने संसद में अपने ऊर्जा पूर्ण भाषण में कहा था कि आज हम 1 वोट से हार रहे हैं और हमारा मजाक बनाया जा रहा है, पर एक ऐसा समय आने वाला है जब हमारी सरकार भारत की पूर्ण बहुमत पाने वाली सबसे सफल पार्टी बनेगी। इसके बाद 1999 में ही हुए लोकसभा चुनाव में भाजपा फिर से सत्ता में आई और अटल जी ने ही प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में अपना यादगार कार्यकाल पूरा किया। सन 2005 में अटल जी ने अपने राजनैतिक करियर को पूरी तरह से विराम दे दिया। 

In 1980, the “Bharatiya Janata Party” was established after separating from the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, whose first national president was Atal ji. For many years, in the beginning, this party had to face criticism. In 1998, 13 months after winning the elections, the BJP government fell by one vote due to lack of majority, which was made an all-around joke. Then Atal ji said in his energetic speech in the parliament that today we are losing by 1 vote and we are being made fun of, but a time is coming when our government will become the most successful party to get an absolute majority in India. . After this, the BJP again came to power in the Lok Sabha elections held in 1999 and Atalji completed his memorable tenure as the Prime Minister. In 2005, Atal ji completely stopped his political career.

 

भारत के प्रधानमंत्री /The prime minister of India

भारत के प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में वे 3 बार पदासीन हुए। पहली बार 1996 में 11 वीं लोकसभा में वे लखनऊ से सांसद पद पाकर भारत के प्रधान मंत्री बने। लेकिन पर्याप्त साथ और गलत परिस्थितियों के कारण उन्होंने 12 दिन बाद स्वयं त्यागपत्र दे दिया।इसके बाद 12 वीं लोकसभा में 1998 में वे फिर से प्रधानमंत्री बने। पर 13 महीने बाद 1999 में समर्थन वापसी की वजह से गठबंधन से बनी उनकी सरकार टूट गई। इतना होने के बाद भी अटल जी अपने नाम की ही तरह अटल रहे और आखिरकार 13 अक्टूबर 1999 में 13 वीं लोकसभा चुनाव में उन्होंने लगातार दूसरी बार राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन की नई गठबंधन सरकार के प्रमुख के रूप में भारत के प्रधानमंत्री का पद ग्रहण किया। पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू के बाद वह पहले ऐसे प्रधानमंत्री हैं जो लगातार दो बार प्रधानमंत्री बने।

He served as the Prime Minister of India thrice. For the first time in 1996, in the 11th Lok Sabha, he became the Prime Minister of India after getting the post of MP from Lucknow. But due to insufficient support and wrong circumstances, he himself resigned after 12 days. After this, he again became the Prime Minister in 1998 in the 12th Lok Sabha. But after 13 months in 1999, his coalition government broke down due to the withdrawal of support. Despite all this, Atal ji remained adamant about his name, and finally the 13th Lok Sabha election on 13 October 1999, he assumed the office of the Prime Minister of India as the head of the new coalition government of the National Democratic Alliance for the second consecutive term. After Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, he is the first Prime Minister to become the Prime Minister for two consecutive terms.

अटल जी राजनीति के में पांच दशकों तक लगातार सक्रिय रहे। वह लोकसभा में 9 बार और राज्य सभा में 2 बार चुने गए।

Atal ji was continuously active in politics for five decades. He was elected 9 times in the Lok Sabha and 2 times in the Rajya Sabha.

भारत के प्रधानमंत्री, विदेश मंत्री, सांसद की विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण स्थायी समितियों के अध्यक्ष और विपक्ष के नेता के रूप में उन्होंने आजादी के बाद भारत की घरेलू और विदेश नीति को सबल बनाने में एक बहुत बड़ी भूमिका निभाई।

As India’s Prime Minister, External Affairs Minister, Chairman of various important Standing Committees of Parliament, and Leader of the Opposition, he played a major role in shaping India’s domestic and foreign policy after independence.

प्रधानमंत्री काल के अद्भुत कार्य / Amazing works of Prime Minister's era

  • अटल जी ने प्रधानमंत्री रहते हुए भारत को परमाणु शक्ति सम्पन्न देश बनाया। इसके बाद भारत को विश्व के प्रमुख शक्तिशाली देशों में गिना जाने लगा।
  • Atal ji made India a nuclear power country while being the Prime Minister. After this, India started being counted among the major powerful countries of the world.
  • अटल जी के सैन्य शक्ति में प्रबलता लाने के लिए बहुत से कार्य किये, जिसे पाकिस्तान के साथ कारगिल युद्ध में विजय का भी एक कारण माना जाता है।
  • Atal ji did many things to strengthen the military power, which is also considered a reason for the victory in the Kargil war with Pakistan.

  • The Golden Quadrilateral scheme was brought under the leadership of Atal ji to connect the four corners of India by road. In this, the four metropolitan cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai were connected by road.
  • पाकिस्तान के साथ संबंधो को सुधारने के लिए अटल जी ने बहुत प्रयास किये। उन्होंने सदा-ए-सरहद नाम से दिल्ली लाहौर बस सेवा शुरू करवाई। पर कारगिल युद्ध की वजह से सारे प्रयास विफल रहे।
  • Atal ji tried a lot to improve relations with Pakistan. He started the Delhi-Lahore bus service under the name Sada-e-Sarhad. But all efforts failed due to the Kargil war.
  • 100 वर्ष पुराने कावेरी जल विवाद को सुलझाने का श्रेय अटल जी को ही जाता है।
  • The credit goes to Atal ji for solving the 100 years old the Cavery water dispute.

अटल जी का व्यक्तित्व / Atal ji's personality

अटल जी का व्यक्तित्व सर्वप्रिय था। अपने जीवन में निर्मल स्वभाव के कारण उन्हें हर क्षेत्र के लोग पसंद  करते थे। वे भारतीय लोकतंत्र के एक ऐसे नेता के रूप में उभरे जिन्होंने विश्व के प्रति उदारवादी सोच और लोकतांत्रिक आदर्शों के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता को महत्व दिया। वे महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण और सामाजिक समानता के समर्थक थे। पण्डित जी का व्यक्तित्व राष्ट्रप्रेम को समर्पित था। वे भारत को सभी राष्ट्रों के बीच एक दूरदर्शी, विकसित, मजबूत और समृद्ध राष्ट्र के रूप में आगे बढ़ते हुए देखना चाहते थे। वे जनता की बातों को ध्यान से सुनते थे और उनकी आकाँक्षाओं को पूरा करने का प्रयास करते थे। उनके कार्य राष्ट्र के प्रति उनके समर्पण को दिखाते हैं।

Atal ji’s personality was everyone’s favorite. Because of his pure nature in life, he was liked by people from all walks of life. He emerged as a leader of Indian democracy who gave importance to liberal thinking towards the world and commitment to democratic ideals. He was a supporter of women’s empowerment and social equality. Pandit ji’s personality was devoted to patriotism. He wanted to see India moving forward as a visionary, developed, strong, and prosperous nation among all nations. He used to listen carefully to the public and tried to fulfill their aspirations. His actions show his dedication to the nation.

निजी जीवन में उन्हें किताबें पढ़ना, लिखना, भोजन पकाना और संगीत सुनना बहुत पसंद था। भोजन में उन्हें खिचड़ी बहुत पसंद थी। अपने पूरे जीवन में उन्होंने कई कवितायेँ भी लिखी जिसे समीक्षकों द्वारा सराहा गया। सादा जीवन जीने की चाह रखने वाले अटल जी संसद के अपने पहले भाषण में भारतीय वेशभूषा धोती, कुर्ता और कोटी पहनकर ही संसद भवन गये थे। हिंदी भाषा के प्रति उनके प्रेम से कोई अनजान नही है। अपना पहला भाषण उन्होंने शुद्ध हिंदी में ही दिया। शुरुआत में उनका बहुत विरोध किया गया पर अपनी अटल ज़िद के आगे किसी की न चली। और फिर वो समय भी आया जब उनके हिंदी भाषण को बिना शोर गुल के शांति के साथ विरोधी दल भी सुनने लगा। 

In his personal life, he loved reading books, writing, cooking, and listening to music. He loved khichdi in food. Throughout his life, he also wrote many poems which were appreciated by critics. Atal ji, who wanted to live a simple life, went to the Parliament House in his first speech in the Parliament wearing the Indian costume Dhoti, Kurta, and Koti. No one is unaware of his love for the Hindi language. He gave his first speech in pure Hindi only. In the beginning, he was opposed a lot, but no one could stand before his unwavering stubbornness. And then the time also came when the opposition party also started listening to his Hindi speech peacefully without making any noise.

अटल जी की सम्मान श्रृंखला / Atal ji's honor series

संक्रांति से जुड़ी पौराणिक कथा /Mythology related to Sankranti

पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार, मकर संक्रांति के दिन भगवान विष्णु ने पृथ्वी लोक पर असुरों का संहार कर उनके सिरों को काटकर मंदरा पर्वत पर फेंका था। लिहाजा भगवान की जीत को मकर संक्रांति के रूप में मनाया जाने लगा। मकर संक्रांति के दिन से ही ऋतु परिवर्तन होने लगता है। इस दिन से शरद ऋतु का प्रभाव कम होने लगता है और बसंत का आगमन हो जाता है। इसके बाद दिन लंबे और रात छोटी होने लगती है। धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार मकर संक्रांति के दिन सूर्यदेव अपने पुत्र शनिदेव के घर जाते हैं। पिता माना जाता है इससे पुत्र के बीच प्रेम बढ़ता है। ऐसे में भगवान सूर्य और शनि की अराधना शुभ फलदायी होती है। मान्यता है कि मकर संक्रांति के दिन इनमें से किसी एक मंत्र के जाप से भक्तों में तेज और ओज की वृद्धि होती है। उन पर भगवान सूर्य की कृपा होती है और सूर्य देव का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त होता है।

Makar Sankranti Puja Method / मकर संक्रांति पूजा विधि

मकर संक्रांति के दिन प्रातः काल शुभ मुहूर्त में स्नान आदि कर लें। यदि स्नान करने वाले पानी में काला तिल, थोड़ा सा गुड़ और गंगाजल मिला लें तो उत्तम होगा। स्नान के बाद साफ-सुथरा वस्त्र धारण कर तांबे के लोटे में जल लें। इसमें काला तिल, गुड़, लाल चंदन, लाल पुष्प, अक्षत् आदि मिला कर सूर्य को अर्पित करते हुए अर्घ्य दें और अर्घ्य देते समय सूर्य मंत्र का जाप करें। 

 On the day of Makar Sankranti, take a bath, etc. at the auspicious time in the morning. It would be better if black sesame, a little jaggery, and Ganga water are mixed in the bathing water. After bathing, put on clean clothes and burn in a copper vessel. मकर संक्राति का महत्‍व/ Importance of Makar Sankranti

वैज्ञानिक आधार पर पहले सूर्य पृथ्वी के दक्षिणी गोलार्ध पर सीधी किरणें डालता है। जिसके कारण उत्तरी गोलार्ध में रात्रि बड़ी और दिन छोटा होता है। इसके कारण सर्द का मौसम भी रहता है। सूर्य पृथ्वी के उत्तरी गोलार्ध की ओर बढ़ना शुरू होता है। जिसके कारण ऋतु भी परिवर्तित होता है और यह कृषकों की फसलों के लिए बेहद ही फायदेमंद होता है।

भारतवर्ष में उपज का मौसम और मकर संक्रांति का पर्व बहुत उल्‍लास और उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है। जैसा कि हम भली भाँति जानते हैं कि भारतीय आबादी का एक बड़ा हिस्सा किसानों का है। इसलिए, देश के अन्य हिस्सों संक्रांति अलग-अलग तरीके से मनाई जाती हैं-

थाई पोंगल/पोंगल 

तमिलनाडु में मनाया जाने वाला थाई पोंगल, भगवान इंद्र को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए चार दिनों के उत्सव के रुप में मनाया जाता है। यह दिन भगवान इंद्र को भरपूर बारिश के लिए आभार मानने का एक माध्यम है। इसलिए उपजाऊ भूमि और अच्छी उपज की कामना स्वरुप यह मनाई जाती हैं।

थाई पोंगल के दूसरे दिन, ताजा पका हुआ चावल दूध में उबाला जाता है और इसे भगवान सूर्य को प्रसाद स्वरुप अर्पित किया जाता है। तीसरे दिन, मट्टू पोंगल ‘बसवा’- भगवान शिव के बैल को घंटियों, फूलों की माला, और पेंट के साथ सजाकर पूजन किया जाता है। पोंगल के चौथे दिन, कन्नुम पोंगल मनाया जाता है जिसमें घर की सभी महिलाएँ एक साथ विभिन्न प्रकार के धार्मिक अनुष्ठान करती हैं।

Thai Pongal / Pongal 

Thai Pongal, celebrated in Tamil Nadu, is a four-day festival to pay homage to Lord Indra. The day is a means of thanking Lord Indra for the bountiful rains. That’s why it is celebrated as a wish for fertile land and good yield.

वैशाखी 

मकर संक्रांति को “बैसाखी” पर्व भी कहा जाता है, पंजाब में यह बहुत उल्लास के साथ मनाया जाने वाला एक फसल त्यौहार है। यह बसंत ऋतु के अनुरूप पंजाबी नववर्ष को भी चिह्नित करता है। इसी दिन, दसवें  सिख गुरु गोविंद सिंह ने खालसा पंथ की स्थापना की थी। सिख इस त्योहार को सामूहिक जन्मदिवस के रूप में मनाते हैं।

Baisakhi 

Makar Sankranti also called the “Baisakhi” festival is a harvest festival celebrated with great enthusiasm in Punjab. It also marks the Punjabi New Year corresponding to the spring season. On this day, the tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh founded the Khalsa Panth. Sikhs celebrate this festival as a collective birthday.

उत्तरायण 

गुजरात राज्य में मकर संक्रांति को उत्तरायण नाम से जाना जाता हैं। इस दिन पतंग उड़ाने, गुड़ और मूंगफली की चिक्की का दावत के रूप में लुफ्त उठाया जाता है। विशेष मसालों के साथ भुनी हुई सब्जी उत्तरायण के अवसर का मुख्य व्यंजन है।

Uttarayan 

Makar Sankranti is known as Uttarayan in the state of kite flying, jaggery, and peanut chikki are enjoyed as a feast on this day. Vegetables roasted with special spices are the main dish of the occasion of Uttarayan.

भोगली या माघ बिहू 

भोगली या माघ बिहू असम का एक सप्ताह लंबा फसल त्यौहार है। यह पर्व माह के 29 वें दिन से शुरू होता है, जो 13 जनवरी को पड़ता है और लगभग एक सप्ताह तक चलता है। इस त्यौहार पर लोग हरे बांस और घास के साथ बनी विशेष संरचना “मेजी” (एक प्रकार की अलाव) का निर्माण करते हैं और जलाते हैं।

Bhogali or Magh Bihu 

Bhogali or Magh Bihu is a week-long harvest festival of Assam. The festival begins on the 29th day of the month, which falls on January 13, and lasts for about a week. At this festival, people build and light a special structure called “meji” (a kind of bonfire) made of green bamboo and grass.

तिल दान का धार्मिक महत्व-

  • मान्यता है कि माघ मास में प्रतिदिन तिल से भगवान विष्णु की पूजा करने से व्यक्ति सारे कष्ट दूर हो जाते हैं।
  • मकर राशि के स्वामी शनि देव हैं। सूर्य पुत्र होने के बावजूद उनका सूर्य से शत्रुवत संबंध होता है। ऐसे में शनि के भाव में सूर्य की उपस्थिति से कष्ट न हो, इसलिए मकर संक्रांति के दिन तिल का दान और सेवन किया जाता है।
